The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) document outlines transportation planning priorities and work tasks for the Memphis Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Area for Fiscal Years 2013-2014 (FY 2013-14). FY 2013-14 begins October 1, 2012, and ends September 30, 2014. The FY2013-14 UPWP was adopted at the August 23, 2012 Transportation Policy Board (TPB) meeting.

Preparation of the UPWP is required by the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) and the Metropolitan Planning Regulations (23CFR 450.314) of the United States Department of Transportation.  The UPWP is prepared with cooperation and guidance from federal, state and local agencies.
